Genetic Diversity Analysis of 38 Germplasm Resources of Polygonatum cyrtonema Based on Floral Organ Characterization
Thirty-eight different sources of Polygonatum cyrtonema flower organs were used as the test materials, variation analysis,Shannon-Weaver diversity index analysis, correlation analysis and cluster analysis were used to study the diversity of Polygonatum cyrtonema flower organs of different germplasm resources,in order to provide reference for the innovation of germplasm resources of Polygonatum cyrtonema and the screening of excellent varieties. The results showed that the germplasm resources of 38 different seed sources of Polygonatum cyrtonema had rich genetic diversity, and the average coefficient of variation of nine agronomic traits of the flower organs was 10.16%,and the Shannon-Weaver diversity index was 2.042.Some traits had extremely significant or significant correlations, with flower length showing extremely significant positive correlations with 5 traits and significant correlations with 1 trait, indicating consistency in the increase of various agronomic traits in flower organs. When the Euclidean distance was 6,the flower organs of 38 germplasm resources of Polygonatum cyrtonema could be divided into three categories. The first type of germplasm had moderately sized flower organs and larger ovaries. The second type of germplasm was characterized by larger overall flower organs, larger flower diameters, and larger petals. The third type of germplasm had lower flower organ traits than the other two types.
