A Study of Cognitive Processes in Music Improvisation——Based on ALE of Neuroimaging
Improvisation is an important form of music creation.Currently, some progress has been made in exploring the neural mechanisms of music improvisation, but few studies have explored the cognitive processing process and neural mechanisms of it from the perspective of musical training ex-perience.Therefore,this study used ALE to comparatively analyze the activation peaks in 110 brain regions of 117 subjects with different music training experiences. It was found that differences in musical training experience lead to changes in the mental processing of creative subjects, resulting in differences in brain area activation when they engage in music improvisation.
