Research on the Rapid Trial Production Process of Suspension Arm Based on SLM Technology
Selective Laser Melting(SLM)is a technology used in the manufacturing of metal additives.It uses laser to sinter and melt metal powders in specific areas layer by layer,and then rapidly cools and solidifies to form,continuously accumulating to obtain the target product.SLM technology has great advantages in the forming and manufacturing of small batches of complex components.This article focuses on the rapid trial production of suspension device cross arms,analyzes the characteristics and problems of multi-directional irregular complex structural components in SLM forming,and establishes a force transmission structure model.Based on the logical functions of the suspension device and the constraints of the cross arm itself,a re optimization method for cross arm variable density lattice filling and integrated additive manufacturing is proposed.In the forming test,nearly 54%weight reduction can be achieved,and the design redundancy of mechanical strength can be increased by 8.1%.This fully verifies the feasibility of this process method,and preliminarily shows the potential of additive manufacturing suspension device cross arms in rapid trial production and lightweight improvement.
