As the main position of Chinese language education,overseas Chinese schools play an irreplaceable role in inheriting and disseminating Chinese language and culture,enhancing exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations.The multi-dimensional value function of overseas Chinese schools can be divided into core functions and extended functions.Core functions:Chinese education and teaching,inheritance and dissemination of Chinese culture.Expanding functions:serving local communities,boosting international exchanges,and promoting economic development.Then it puts forward the way to realize its function:to build a complete Chinese education system,realize cultural empathy across space,actively integrate into the mainstream society in the country,deepen exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations on all fronts,fully unleash the economic value of the Chinese language.
