The historically generated concept of ideological and political education is a fundamental answer to the dual questions of"what is"and"what should be"in ideological and political education.During the period of socialist revolution and construction,the ideological and political education concept in China was characterized by the idea of"collective interests above all else";In the new era of reform and opening up and socialist modernization construction,the ideological and political education concept in China is characterized by"inspiring personal value".In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,cultivating the modernity of Chinese people,promoting the all-round development of Chinese people,and better handling the triple value relationship of"state society individual"have become the era motivation of ideological and political education concept innovation.The concept of ideological and political education in the new era should explore the formation of the era characteristics of"internal harmony between the collective and the individual",and carry out innovative development and improvement in the three dimensions of theoretical spirit,ideological methods,and value principles.At the same time,this concept should also be based on the practical activities of Chinese people to build Chinese path to modernization,carry out the era innovation of practical dimensions,and explore the"respected education","scientific"and"life oriented"education methods.
