As the main content of ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era,red culture education is not only a fresh teaching material to guide Chinese youth in the new era to strengthen their beliefs in Marxism and understand the history of the CPC,but also of great significance to cultivate college students'firm sense of cultural self-confidence and enhance college students'recognition of the Chinese national culture.Colleges and universities should develop and make good use of the unique advantages of red culture in educating students,clarify the value orientation of red culture education,build a sound community of university education,and fully integrate red culture into ideological and political work and various course teaching in colleges and universities,fully exert the soul building and education function of red culture education,thereby promote the connotative development of ideological and political education.
