This paper adopts the Q-Type Clustering and Stepwise regression analysis to analyze the scoring ability and sixteen regular technical statistical indexes of twenty teams in CBA basketball games. The result shows that the twenty teams in CBA can be divided into 3 levels. On the first level, the main factors that affect the scoring ability of these teams are three-point attempts, assists, three-point shot percentage, two-point attempts, free throw attempts, free throw percentage, shot percentage, foul, defensive rebounds and turnovers. On the second level, the main factors are three-point shot percentage, two-point shot percentage, three-point attempts, free throw percentage, turnovers, two-point shot percentage, offensive rebounds and assists. On the third level, the main factors are three-point attempts, free throw attempts, two-point attempts, assists and two-points shot percentage. The result could provide valuable reference to carry out proper training and match plans to improve the scoring ability of the teams.
