On the Curriculum Design of Aerobics Course in Sports Schools of Colleges in Shanxi Province
This paper adopts the methods of literature review, questionnaire survey, interviews, data collection and logical analysis to study some aspects of aerobics class in six universities of Shanxi province, including: teaching goals, commencement of the class hour, the form of teaching, teaching content and assessment and evaluation methods. The following conclusions are drawn: aerobics curriculum design in colleges of Shanxi is in the stage of development; the teaching objectives of aerobics courses in six colleges and universities are roughly the same; aerobics course hour varies; but the overall class hour is insufficient. Time allotted for theoretical classes and practical classes is inappropriate.Less time is spent on theoretical classes. The proportion of students’ creative ability occupies little in the assessment. Classroom attendance and professional and technical skills are regarded as the main content of the assessment.
