The lnfluence of Fitness Qigong Baduanjin on the Vital Capacity of the Middle-aged and Elderly People
The purpose of this article is to discuss the influence of Fitness Qigong Baduanjin on the vital capacity of the middle-aged and elderly people. The research method of the article is to evaluate the vital capacity of 160 middle-aged and elderly people in the province of Inner Mongolia. The testing period lasts 70 days. The middle-aged and elderly people are divided into two groups, with each group being further divided into two groups of 40 persons according to whether practicing Qi Gong or not . The result shows that the vital capacity of those who practice fitness Qigong Baduanjin is obviously higher than that of those who did not practice Fitness Qigong Baduanjin . The research result has the statistical significance (P <0.05). According to the research, it can be concluded that practicing Fitness Qigong Baduanjin can obviously improve the lung capacity and the respiratory function of the middle-aged and elderly people, and can also serve for the fitness business of human being and make the society stable.
