The purpose of this study is to explore the co-relationship between the sports dance in Jishou university and its background of Huxiang culture. Through the investigation , it analyzes the role of sports dance in Jishou university campus sports culture construction; and it adopts the methods of literature, questionnaire survey, interview, mathematical statistics, to do the logic analysis of various factors affecting the development of sports dance to depict current situation of sports dance in Jishou university. Furthermore, it clarifies the uniqueness of school sports dance, and points out the advantages and disadvantages factors to extend this activity so as to provide references for sports culture construction of universities.
