The definition of exercise therapy in water refers to the treatment of walking rehabilitation training, balance training and joint activity degree training under the buoyancy of water, and using water resistance, temperature to conduct recovery exercise, strength training and endurance training treatment. In the comprehensive rehabilitation therapies, water therapy plays an important role in the process because it can improve blood and lymph circulation in the body, adjust the body metabolism, get detumescence and analgesia, maintain and expand the joint range of motion. Water exercise therapy cannot be replaced by other methods. A lot of professional people have concerned about the water exercise as an effective project in the treatment of exercise rehabilitation. Through literature review and theoretical analysis, this paper expounds the action principle and the clinical application of the water exercise rehabilitation.
