摘要
文章探讨鄂东高跷的起源与嬗变规律，剖析了其发展现状及弊端，提出了发展鄂东高跷要走特色文化的发展道路、走市场营销的发展道路、走进地方学校的发展道路的建议，这不仅对硕厚鄂东高跷的文化内涵、彰显鄂东高跷的人文价值，有积极意义，而且对传承、弘扬鄂东高跷，也有现实指导作用。
Abstract
This paper discusses the origin and evolution regularity of east stilts, analyzes its development status and shortcomings, puts forward some advices for the development of the east stilts including building a characteristic culture development road, marketing development road, goinging into local schools. It not only has positive significance in recognizing thick eastern culture connotation, revealing the east of stilts humanistic value, but also has realistic guidance for the inheritance and development of stilts in the eartern area of Hubei Province.
