Cultural Practices and Value Construction of Youth in the Social Media Era
Social media,with its openness,low threshold and self-organization,has activated the vigorous de-velopment of various cultures.It has not only promoted the reorganization of various social cultural relationships,but also profoundly influenced the construction of youth values from the perspective of human survival and devel-opment.In the context of the social media era,the cultural practices of Chinese youth exhibit characteristics such as rebelliousness and participation at the individual level,empathy and distinction at the group level,and feed-back at the social level.These cultural practices affect the construction of youth values both positively and nega-tively.To address the issues that arise during the practices,measures such as improving youth's media communi-cation skills,focusing on cultural significance construction,and gathering social forces should be taken to help youth establish healthy and upward values.
