Objectives,Value Implication,and Implementation Paths for Advancing the Deep Integration of Party Building and Educational Development in Universities
It is the inherent requirement for universities to adhere to high-quality Party building to lead the development of education,in line with the general requirements for Party building in the new era,and also the in-trinsic demand for solidly advancing the construction of an educationally strong nation.By elucidating the objectives of deep integration between Party building and six aspects of universities,including disciplinary development,talent cultivation,scientific research,social service,cultural inheritance and innovation,international exchange and coop-eration,this paper concludes that the integration is the inevitable requirement for strengthening the Party's overall leadership over the educational cause,a significant measure to enhance the quality of Party building at the grassro-ots level in universities,and a necessary factor for building a high-quality higher education system.To achieve the objectives of integration,universities need to combine Party members management with educational management,integrate teachers'political theory studies with professional studies,and merge Party conduct and clean governance with the development of teaching ethics.Furthermore,universities should strengthen the overall planning and top-lev-el design for the deep integration of Party building and educational development,earnestly fulfill the primary responsi-bility of managing and governing the Party as well as running and administering the university,and promote the deep integration and innovative development of Party building and educational development in universities.
