On the Epistemological Basis of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Thought on the Party's Self-Revolution
General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thought on the Party's self-revolution represents a new judgment and understanding of self-construction proposed by Chinese Communists in the new era.Observing the emergence,practice,and development of this thought from the perspective of Marxist epistemology,this paper aims to analyze the philosophical foundation of the Chinese Communists'understanding of the Party's self-revolu-tion at the"metaphysical"level.Understanding the self,transforming the self,and becoming the self can provide answers to the questions of the times,such as why self-revolution is necessary,why self-revolution is possible,and how to promote self-revolution.Practice has no end,and neither does the Party's self-revolution.The value of the self-revolution in the new era lies in responding to the new expectations of the people and the new calls of the times,maintaining the Party's advanced nature and purity through self-revolution and leading great social revolu-tions with great self-revolutions.
