The Practice and Reflection on Examining the Annual Progressive Training Mode of Residential Training Base
Objective To explore how to implement the annual progressive training mode in the inspection base, and to provide a reference for the teaching managers of the inspection base.Methods From the residence training base rotation system,teaching activities,assessment methods,teacher management,and daily activities,we conducted a multi-dimensional construction of progressive training mode.The second and third grade students in the residential training base were examined in five aspects:morphology,skill operation, test result interpretation,humanistic communication,and clinical thinking.We analyzed and compared the results of different subjects of students in different academic years.We also compared the scores of students in the final examination before and after the implementation of the progressive training mode;A questionnaire survey was conducted among the students.Results Grade 3 students were slightly higher than Grade 2 students in morphology and skill operation,but significantly higher than Grade 2 students in test result interpretation,humanistic communication and clinical thinking.Since the implementation of the progressive training model in 2019,the completion test scores of residential trainees have significantly improved.The students provided high marks to the implementation of the progressive training mode of the base,while the teacher training needed to be further strengthened.Conclusion The establishment of the progressive training mode of the inspection base needs the strong cooperation of teaching managers and all teachers and the implementation in various aspects of the training process.Scientific construction of progressive training mode is helpful to achieve the overall goal of training high-quality laboratory physicians.
