Expressions of Serum LncRNA DANCR and LncRNA SNHG7 in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Their Relationships with Pathological Characteristics and Prognosis
Objective To investigate expressions of long non-coding RNA differentiation antagonizing non-protein coding RNA(lncRNA DANCR)and long non-coding RNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 7(lncRNA SNHG7)in serum of patients with acute myeloid leukemia(AML),and their relationships with pathological characteristics and prognosis. Methods In this study,120 patients with AML who were discharged from our hospital after visiting our clinic between October,2017 and October,2018 were selected and recorded as AML group, while another 120 volunteers who underwent physical examination at our hospital as the reference group.Clinical indicators, such as age, gender, and AML morphology were observed and recorded for all participants.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR)method was applied to detect the expression levels of lncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7;t-test method was applied to evaluate the differential expression of lncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 and their relationships with pathological characteristics;Pearson correlation was applied to analyze the correlation between their expression levels;AML patients were grouped into lncRNA DANCR high expression group(n=65),lncRNA DANCR low expression group(n=55),lncRNA SNHG7 high expression group(n=74),and lncRNA SNHG7 low expression group(n=46)based on the mean expression levels of both;Kaplan-Meier method was applied for survival analysis. Results Levels of lncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 in AML patients were significantly higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05),and there was a positive correlation between the two(r=0.414,P<0.001);Expression levels of LncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 were correlated with risk stratification, white blood cell(WBC),hemoglobin(Hb),and platelet count(PLT)(P<0.05);The five-year survival rates of AML patients with high expression of lncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 were 30.77%and 31.08%,respectively,while the five-year survival rates of AML patients with low expression of lncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 were 50.91%and 54.35%,respectively(P<0.05),and the survival rates of AML patients with low expression of lncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 were significantly higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Expression levels of LncRNA DANCR and lncRNA SNHG7 in the serum of AML patients are high, and there is a positive correlation between the two, which can serve as important indicators of poor prognosis in AML patients.
