The Discussion on the Effect of Self-proposed Gout Rehabilitation Formula Combined with Glucocorticoid on the Efficacy and Joint Function of Patients with Gout in Acute Exacerbation Stage
Objective To study effects of self-prepared gout rehabilitation formula combined with glucocorticoid on the therapeutic effect and joint function of patients with acute exacerbation of gout.Methods From April,2020 to April,2023,a total of 80 patients with acute gout attack were selected and divided into the control group and experimental group,each with 40 cases according to the statistical randomization method.The control group was treated with glucocorticoid,while the experimental group was treated with the self-proposed gout rehabilitation formula.We compared the efficacy of the two groups.We also observed several related indexes,including the western medicine symptom score,Chinese medicine symptom score,joint function score,joint pain score and interleukin-8 (IL-8),as well as interleukin-12 (IL-12)levels before and after treatment.Results After the treatment,the total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05),while the western medicine symptom score,Chinese medicine symptom score,joint function score,joint pain score,as well as IL-8 and IL-12 levels were all lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Self-formulated gout rehabilitation formula combined with glucocorticoids can be beneficial to enhance the efficacy of patients with acute gout attack,improve disease symptoms and joint function,reduce joint pain,and inhibit levels of inflammatory factors.
