The Research Progress in the Application of Serum Markers in Ischemic Stroke
Ischemic stroke is the most common type of stroke, with high disability and fatality rates, threatening human health.Currently, the application of serum markers in ischemic stroke, including diagnosis and prognosis, has achieved some progresses.Interleukins, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase,lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2,soluble intercellular adhesion molecule, platelet activating factor, matrix metalloproteinase and other indicators have showed promising diagnostic values. With the rapid development of genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics research, the discovery of non-coding RNA has opened up novel directions for the pathophysiological mechanisms of ischemic stroke.NcRNA might serve as an important serum markers for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of ischemic stroke.
