Effects of Maranth Lotion Combined with Compound Minwei Syrup in the Treatment of Eczema in Children and on Inflammatory Factors
Objective To explore the relationship between Th1/Th2 imbalance and eczema in children,and to evaluate the therapeutic effect of maranth yellow lotion combined with compound Minwei syrup.Methods 108 children with eczema who were treated in our hospital from January,2023 to September,2023 were selected for the study.The case group was divided into treatment group A(54 cases)and treatment group B(54 cases)according to the random number table method.Group A was treated with compound Minwei syrup,while group B was treated with maranth yellow lotion combined with compound Minwei syrup.The clinical efficacy,EASI score and cytokine levels of interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-10(IL-10),interferon-γ(IFN-γ)before and after treatment were compared among children in each group.Results After 10 days of treatment,EASI scores of the two groups were both lower than those before treatment,and EASI score of group B was lower than that of group A(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of group B was higher than that of group A,while the recurrence rate was lower than that of group A(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of IL-4 and IL-10 in the two groups were both lower than those before treatment,and levels of IL-2 and IFN-γ were higher than those before treatment,and the degree of reduction or increase in the combined-treatment group was greater than that in the single-treatment group.Conclusion The therapeutic effect of maranth yellow lotion combined with compound minwei syrup on pediatric eczema is significantly better than that of compound minwei syrup alone.The combined treatment can reduce the recurrence rate,improve the effective rate,reduce inflammatory reaction,and improve immune balance.Furthermore,it is safe and reliable,which is worthy of clinical application.
