The Application of BOPPPS in the Experimental Teaching of Microbiology and Immunology
Microbiology and immunology is a basic compulsory course for multiple majors in medical college education system.As an extension of theoretical courses,microbiology and immunology experimental course not only promotes the mastery of theoretical knowledge,but also provides training for students'professional practical ability,which is an important part of cultivating innovative and applied talents.BOPPPS teaching mode emphasizes the active role of students in the classroom,adheres to the teaching concept of"learning as the center",and guides students to conduct inquiry learning around the core value of"participatory interactive learning".Combined with the orientation and goal of microbiology and immunology experimental course,this paper compares characteristics of BOPPPS with traditional experimental teaching model,and takes the comprehensive experiment"Gram staining and drug sensitivity test of pharyngeal bacteria"as an example to explore the specific application mode of BOPPPS in experimental teaching program.The results of study provides important references for improving the experimental teaching quality of microbiology and immunology and related courses.
