The Value of the Differential Diagnosis of Preoperative Triglyceride,Superoxide Dismutase and Cytokeratin 19 Fragment Levels in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Benign Lung Nodules
Objective To investigate the preoperative values of triglyceride(TG),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and cytokeratin 19-fragments(CYFRA21-1)in the differential diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and benign lung nodules. Methods Clinical data of 105 patients with non-small cell lung cancer and 84 patients with benign lung nodules who were operated and treated at the First Medical Center of the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army(PLA)from October,2022 to October,2023 were collected for this study.Patients'basic information, pathological reports and serum-related indexes were statistically analyzed. Results The level of TG in the NSCLC group was lower than that in the benign nodule group(Z=-2.295,P=0.022),while levels of SOD and CYFRA21-1 were higher than those in the benign nodule group(Z=-3.298,-2.611;P=0.001,0.009).ROC curve showed that the sensitivities for differential diagnosis of the two of TG,SOD and CYFRA21-1 were 0.762,0.448,and 0.419,respectively,while specificities were 0.389,0.815,and 0.796,respectively.The area under the ROC curve(AUC)were 0.549,0.653,and 0.619,respectively.The sensitivity, specificity, and AUC of the three-marker combination assays were 0.657,0.815,and 0.763,respectively.Conclusion Combined detection of preoperative serum TG,SOD,and CYFRA21-1 can improve the sensitivity and specificity in the differential diagnosis of non-small-cell lung cancer and benign nodules.
