The Relationship Between Serum HIF-1α,LP(a),VEGF,LP-PLA2 Levels and Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To analyze clinical significances of serum hypoxia inducible factor-1 α(HIF-1 α),lipoprotein a[LP (a)],vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),and lipoprotein associated phospholipase A2 (LP-PLA2)in monitoring the condition of coronary heart disease. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 192 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital. Based on results of coronary angiography, these patients were divided into single vessel, double vessel, and multi-vessel coronary disease groups,as well as mild, moderate, and severe stenosis groups; We also selected healthy examinees as the control group;Comparisons of serum HIF-1 levels between coronary heart disease patients and control groups under different examination results α were conducted. We evaluated differences between LP (a),VEGF,and LP-PLA2 levels,as well as the significance of monitoring the severity of the disease. Results Comparison of serum HIF-1 levels among different coronary branch groups α showed that levels of LP (a),VEGF,and LP-PLA2 in the lesion group were higher than those in the control group, with the highest levels in the multi vessel lesion group and the lowest levels in the single vessel lesion group; The comparison of indicator levels for different degrees of illness showed that the medical record group was higher than the control group, the severe group was higher than the moderate group, and the moderate group was higher than the mild group, with significant differences (P<0.05);ROC curve showed that AUCs of moderate to severe coronary heart disease evaluated by serum HIF-1 α,LP(a),VEGF,and LP-PLA2 were 0.865,0.751,0.799,and 0.782,respectively,and the combined AUC was 0.887.Conclusion Changes in levels of serum HIF-1 α,LP (a),VEGF,and LP-PLA2 are related to changes in the condition of coronary heart disease patients.Clinical evaluation of the specific condition of coronary heart disease patients can be achieved by detecting levels of these four indicators.
