The Status of Human Papillomavirus Infections Among Health Examination Women in Dalian City
Objective To investigate the status of human papillomavirus(HPV)infections in women in Dalian city and the distribution characteristics of HPV in different age groups, and to further provide epidemiological evidences for the prevention, treatment and follow-up study of cervical lesions. Methods Women who underwent physical examinations and HPV genotype tests in The Second People's Hospital of Dalian and Dalian Municipal Central Hospital from July,2022 to July,2024 were selected as the study subjects.HPV genotype test was then performed with commercial kits. The HPV infection status was analyzed and the difference of HPV positive rate among different age groups was evaluated. Results The overall positive rate of HPV was 15.48%,among which the positive rate of high-risk HPV was only 10.96%,while the positive rate of low-risk HPV was only 3.13%,and the positive rate of high-low-risk co-infections was 1.39%.The positive rate was 12.44%for single infection and 3.03%for multiple infections. The top 5 positive genotypes were HPV52,HPV81,HPV58,HPV1 and HPV42.The positive rate of HPV was significantly different among different age groups(x2=34.301,P<0.001).There was significant difference in the positive rate of HPV multiple infections among different age groups(x2=21.793,P<0.001).The positive rates of 12 HPV genotypes(HPV11,16,18,31,33,39,51,52,53,56,81 and 82)were significantly different among different age groups(P<0.05).Conclusion HPV infection in women in Dalian city is dominated by high-risk types and single infection, and different age groups show different distribution characteristics of HPV genotypes, which provides a reference basis for the development of HPV prevention and control strategies in Dalian city.
