An Analysis of the Interference Effect of Contamination Carried by Lipase Reagent on Serum Total Bile Acid Level Detection
Objective To analyze the interference effect of contamination carried by lipase(LPS)on the detection of serum total bile acid(TBA)levels in clinical biochemical tests. Methods Circulating enzyme method was applied to detect TBA levels in different serum samples, and the contaminations of LPS R1 and R2 reagents for serum TBA detection were also observed. Results Both LPS R1 and R2 detection reagents showed significant interference effect on the detection results of serum TBA levels(all P<0.05),and this interference effect displayed a decreasing trend. Conclusion There is contamination carried by LPS reagents, which could affect the accuracy of the serum TBA detection results.Clinical testing personnel can set items that interfere with each other in different testing modules to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results.
