Full-time children"are different from the former"NEETs",they live at home and take care of their parents'daily life,in exchange for financial support from their parents or live on personal savings.Most of the"full-time children"are in the golden age of career development and career growth.Based on the text content of Douban.com,Weibo,Douyin,Zhihu,Xiaohongshu and other Internet platforms,this paper analyzes the psychological process of"full-time children"from the perspective of planned behavior theory.There are many reasons for active selection or passive becoming"full-time children"and the reasons are diverse.The emotional and economic attachment between them and their parents is an important basis for the formation and maintenance of"full-time children".After many people become"full-time children",they bear a certain proportion of housework,and their physical and mental state has been healed.However,they inevitably feel the pressure from the surrounding concern and curiosity,hoping to find a suitable job for themselves as soon as possible and get rid of the identity of"full-time children".The phenomenon of"full-time children"has both positive and negative effects on individuals,families,and society.It needs to be responded from all levels and given sufficient social support to"full-time children"in all aspects.
