Youth in the new era is an important strategic resource loaded with "vital force to promote the development of history and social progress", a vital force for national rejuvenation, and a continuation of the construction of a strong nation. In the new era, young people should strengthen their Marxist belief, establish correct life ideals and value pursuits, and gather young people's strength for the Chinese dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Based on the logical theory of " why-how-how, " this paper re-examines the value implication, the requirements of the times and the practical approach of the ideal and belief education of young people in the new era.
