Cultivating the College Students'Ability to Pose Problems:Shortcomings,Causes and Reform Paths
The ability to pose problems is an important skill for college students.Inspecting various aspects of teaching activities and interviewing teachers and students,it was found that college students have shortcomings in posing problems,including:not proactive in thinking and discovering problems,inability to accurately express and define problems,impossible to establish a connection between existing knowledge and practical situations.The main reasons are:insufficient learning motivation,insufficient knowledge reserves,and weak knowledge construction ability of students;outdated teaching concepts and methods of teachers,and implemented subject status of students;there are deficiencies in the college's talent training system and environment.Measures need to be taken to improve the cultivation of college students'ability to pose problems,which include:to strengthen ideological education which guides students to establish correct learning perspectives;to revise training plan which emphasizes the cultivation of ability to pose problems;to deepen education and teaching reform which highlights the status of students as the main body;to promote system innovation,to strengthen the cultivation of college students'ability to pose problem.
