Construction of"Innovative Thinking in Law"Undergraduate Course:A Case Study of Dalian Maritime University
Innovative thinking in legal studies is manifested both in the innovative application of traditional professional thought and in introducing and realizing novel ideas within the domain of law.The construction of a socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics urgently necessitates a large number of high-quality,innovative legal talents.Consequently, there is a pressing need and urgency for higher legal education to emphasize the cultivation of innovative thinking.Nevertheless, within China's undergraduate legal education framework, legal innovation courses display certain typical issues:a notable lack of integration between specialization and innovation, and a weaker amalgamation of theory and practice.Additionally, curriculum development centered on innovative legal thinking is still in its nascent exploratory phase.Addressing the unique attributes of innovative thinking in legal studies,Dalian Maritime University has taken the lead in launching an undergraduate course titled"Innovative Legal Thinking."This initiative aims to establish a high-caliber,distinctive course in innovation, fortify the curriculum structure, enhance curriculum development, and more aptly cater to the demands of nurturing innovative legal talents.
