Security of overseas interests is one of the important areas of national security in the new era.Over the past decade,under the guidance of the overall national security concept,national security research achievements have been made in various fields.The field of overseas interests security is relatively insufficient.To realize the security of overseas interests,it is urgent to build a system of overseas interests security discipline.Based on the theory of social science system,the subject system,academic system and discourse system of overseas interests security discipline are constructed for the first time.The research object is the cornerstone of constructing the subject system,theory is the foundation of the academic system,and concept is the premise of the discourse system.The overseas interests security discipline is constructed by subject system which is"the basic law and general method of overseas interests development and security protection basic law and general method",academic system"what are overseas interests,what challenges and how to protect"and discourse system"overseas interests,overseas interests protection,subject,object,principle,way,security connotation and derivative concept and category".To build the discipline,we must adhere to the world vision,Chinese characteristics,and urgent use first.
