As China enters an aging society,the demand for elderly care has become increasingly ur-gent,posing challenges to traditional elderly care models. Embodied intelligent robots,as an emerging technological tool,demonstrate immense potential in satisfying the multi-faceted needs of the elderly for care,thereby significantly enhancing their quality of life and sense of happiness. However,the ethical di-lemmas that accompany this technology cannot be overlooked,including issues such as data privacy,attri-bution of responsibility,impacts on traditional filial piety culture,unemployment and economic inequality,moral dilemmas,and challenges in autonomous decision-making. While comprehensively enhancing elderly care services,it is imperative to adhere to a people-centered approach,balancing technological innovation with humanistic concerns,to ensure the sustainability and inclusiveness of embodied intelligent robots in the field of elderly care.
