The integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into the construction of "grand ideo-logical and political courses" (hereinafter referred to as "grand IPC courses") is conducive to expanding the scope of "grand IPC courses" construction,providing abundant educational resources,carriers,and teach-ers;it facilitates the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional cul-ture,thereby enhancing cultural self-confidence;it also helps to highlight the educational value of Chinese excellent traditional culture and better emphasize the status and role of IPC courses as the key courses for fostering virtue through education. The logical basis for integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture in-to the construction of "grand IPC courses" encompasses:content transformation,realizing the rational and organic integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into IPC courses;value reconstruction,achieving the transformation and remodeling of contemporary values from traditional values;subject expansion,reali-zing the large-scale collaboration among educational subjects of "grand IPC courses" with Chinese cultural literacy;and field expansion,constructing a "grand IPC course" Chinese cultural society as a large class-room. Its practical approaches include incorporating Chinese excellent traditional culture into the theoretical and practical teaching of IPC courses,as well as into the construction of campus culture,and building "walking IPC+cultural classrooms."
