Improving the Comprehensive Literacy of Physical Education Teachers in Universities under the Guidance of the Spirit of Educators:Theoretical Interpretation and Practical Approach
The spirit of educators provides a spiritual banner,value orientation,and methodological guidance for improving the comprehensive quality of college physical education teachers.This study utilizes research methods such as literature review and logical analysis to clarify six essential meanings of the spirit of educators in guiding the enhancement of college physical education teachers'comprehensive quality,namely,"serving the country through sports,""inspiring ambition through sports,""cultivating morality through sports,""nourishing the mind through sports,""strengthening the body through sports,"and"practicing diligently through sports."It also elucidates the historic logic of China's excellent traditional Chinese teacher culture,the theoretical logic supported by the Marxist view of education,and the practical logic based on overcoming the difficulties in improving teachers'comprehensive quality.Based on this,a practical approach is proposed to adhere to the value stance of"serving the country and promoting the way of education",to cultivate the noble sentiment of"being a model of benevolence and love",and to nurture the educational wisdom of"being suitable for teaching and diligently working."
