Based on the"consciousness"of improvisational dance,the paper analyzes the state of"consciousness",the process of"consciousness"and its relation with creativity in improvisational dance from the perspective of the initiative of consciousness,to further understand the essence and mystery of improvisational dance.It also explores how dancers can avoid falling into the logic of convention,lead the performance from the external display to the internal pursuit,and perceive the multiple facets of the self,so as to explore individuality,stimulate creativity,and ultimately move towards the"Know Thyself".
