As an art form embodying Chinese culture and values,Chinese dance has unique advantages in transcending the barriers of culture,language in cross-cultural exchanges.Under the current background of the profound changes unseen in a century,the turbulent international situation has increased the difficulty of international communication.An urgent issue is how Chinese dance can contribute to enhancing the soft power of Chinese culture,shaping the image of a culturally rich nation,and facilitating cultural exchanges and mutual understanding in this complicated global situation.This paper employs literature review and logical analysis to focus on the value advantages of Chinese dance in the political,cultural,and trade aspects,to clarify its mission as a narrative text,a medium of exchange,and a cultural product.It elucidates the dilemmas faced by the international communication of Chinese dance,explores possible pathways under new circumstances,and proposes coping strategies to enhance the international communication of Chinese dance.
