Objectives,Orientation,Methods:Rehearsal Course Design for Chinese Dance Repertoires Based on Embodied Cognition
As a core course within the professional dance performance curriculum,the rehearsal course for Chinese dance repertoires plays an indispensable role.It integrates cultural,artistic,and emotional elements and selects exemplary works from nearly 70 years of Chinese dance development that can evoke emotional resonance in students,thereby enhancing their comprehensive dance performance abilities.The embodied cognition theory emphasizes the close connection between cognition,body experience,and the environment,providing a new perspective for dance education.Based on this theory,the rehearsal course design for Chinese dance repertoires should transcend mere physical technique training,focusing on the cultivation of cognitive abilities and emotional understanding.Through embodied practice,students deepen their perception of the meaning of a dance work.Guided by embodied cognition,this course promotes overall progress in students'dance techniques,emotional expression,and cognitive understanding by emphasizing diverse contexts,deep body involvement,and the use of virtual technologies,thus opening new pathways for cultivating dance talents.
