Role of Chinese Classical Dance Training in Ethnic Dance Teaching:a Case Study of the Elite Class at the College of Dance of Minzu University of China
Since its establishment in the 1950s,the Chinese classical dance training system has developed into a distinctive system through the efforts of several generations of dance practitioners.Chinese ethnic and folk dance is closely related to classical dance,sharing similarities in movement requirements and aesthetic characteristics.Therefore,Chinese classical dance plays an irreplaceable role in the teaching of ethnic dance.Drawing from the author's personal teaching experience,this paper summarizes the influence and significance of Chinese classical dance training courses on the cultivation of ethnic minority dance talents.
