An Analysis of the Communist Party of China and China's Political Development from the Perspective of Party Centralism
For a long time,the social centralism paradigm and the state centralism paradigm have been highly respected as the two main paradigms for analyzing the politics of developing countries.However,both theories have strong presuppositions:the dichotomy of state and society,and the ulti-mate orientation of political development based on this-the western"constitutional democracy"system.Due to the differences in the development process and political system between China and Western countries,the ruling party has an irreplaceable central position in the process of China's po-litical development.In recent years,domestic scholars have proposed to analyze the development of Chinese politics with the paradigm of party centralism,rather than the paradigm of social centralism and the paradigm of state centralism.Therefore,reviewing and explaining the relationship between the Communist Party of China and China's political development from the perspective of party cen-tralism can clarify the key role of powerful political parties in the formation of China's modern coun-try,so as to better understand the relationship between the Communist Party of China and China's political development,and more firmly take the road of modernization with Chinese characteristics.
