Characteristics of the Development of the Industrial Co-operative Movement during the Anti Japanese War and Its Historical Significance
The industrial cooperative movement was a form of organization that emerged during the Anti Japanese War to mobilize and organize workers, peasants and intellectuals to jointly resist the Japanese invaders and promote domestic economic development. In promoting wartime economic de-velopment,the industrial cooperative movement provided important support to the wartime economy, promoted economic development by raising productivity and technology levels, and facilitated the spread of the concept of self-reliance.In terms of social mobilization and the cultivation of national consciousness,it fostered a sense of national identity and resistance to the war by promoting the unity and organization of workers and peasants, forming a powerful force against the Japanese invaders. However, the industrial co-operative movement also had some limitations.Essentially,it was still an old-fashioned cooperative, coupled with the limitations of China's economic development and internal organizational management issues in the context of the era, which ultimately led to its decline. The experience and lessons of the industrial co-operative movement can provide useful reference and inspi-ration for the construction of socialism in China.
