A Review of the Study on Shurangama Sutra in China over the Past Twenty Years
Since the beginning of the 21st century,the academic community has achieved fruitful results in research centered around the Shuran gama Sutra.By collecting and organizing relevant writ-ings and papers,this paper provides a review of academic achievements in China over the past twenty years.It mainly involves research on the language and writing of the Shurangama Sutra,historical and cultural research on the Shurangama Sutra,ideological and semantic research on the Shurangama Sutra,research on the authenticity of the Shurangama Sutra,and research on the com-mentaries on the Shurangama Sutra through the ages.
