Common prosperity is the essential characteristics of socialism and one of the key links to realize the Chinese path to modernization.This paper takes 10 prefecture-level cities in Shaanxi Province as the research object,constructs the common prosperity index system and analyzes the spa-tial and temporal evolution of its development trend,spatial characteristics,differences and other di-mensions.The conclusions of the study show that:(1)The overall level of common prosperity in Shaanxi Province is rising,and the cities with higher levels are mostly concentrated in Guanzhong and northern Shaanxi;(2)In terms of spatial characteristics,the level of common prosperity in Shaanxi Province has significant spatial negative autocorrelation;(3)In terms of difference,the difference within Guanzhong area is low,while the difference between northern Shaanxi and Guanzhong area is significantly greater than that between other regions.Based on these,practical policy recommenda-tions are put forward from many aspects to promote the common prosperity of Shaanxi Province.
