Wenzhou has a long history and profound cultural heritage.In recent years,a large number of epitaph documents have been unearthed in Wenzhou,which are of great significance for a deeper understanding of Wenzhou's history and culture.The compilation and organization of Wenzhou epitaph documents have yielded fruitful results,among which Wu Mingzhe's Wenzhou Ste-les Record(《温州访碑录》)is currently the most comprehensive and high-quality compilation of tomb inscriptions unearthed in Wenzhou.Due to the complexity of historical allusions,official systems,fu-neral language,folk sayings,and other difficult words in the epitaph,as well as the blurriness of some epitaph texts,errors and inaccuracies are inevitable.This paper selects 16 debatable points and briefly discusses them in order to seek advice from experts.
