Analysis of influencing factors of asthma children with persistent airflow limitation
Objective To explore the influencing factors of persistent airflow limitation(PAL)in asthmatic children. Methods Asthmatic children who visited the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Institute of Pediatrics from January to December 2021 were divided into case group(children with PAL)and control group(children without PAL),50 cases in each group. The clinical data of the two groups were collected, and the personal history, asthma attack, allergic status, respiratory tract infection, and pulmonary function levels of the two groups were compared.Multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of PAL.Results Among the 100 children, there were 78 males and 22 females, the mean age was(9.5±2.2)years.Multivariate regression analysis showed that children with the history of pneumonia(OR=5.863,95%CI:2.295-14.975,P<0.01)and frequent attacks of asthma(OR=1.599,95%CI:1.079-18.436,P<0.01)were more likely to have PAL.Conclusions PAL occurs early in asthmatic children, and the history of pneumonia, frequent attacks of asthma are the independent influencing factors of PAL in asthmatic children. In order to decrease the incidence of PAL,attention should be paid to prevent infection, reduce the incidence of respiratory infection and treat properly to control asthma.
