An Al/Li-LDH film was prepared on the surface of Mg-5Li-1Al(LA51)magnesium alloy by hydrothermal synthesis method. The influence of the pH value of hydrothermal reaction on the morphology and properties of the Al/Li-LDH film was investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)testing, polarization curve and other characterization methods. The results show that the size of the Al/Li-LDH film increases as the the pH value of the hydrothermal reaction rises, and the corrosion resistance of the above-said film increases first and then decreases. When the pH value of hydrothermal reaction is 11.5,the Al/Li-LDH film has the best corrosion resistance, including the largest charge transfer resistance Rct,the smallest corrosion current density Jcorr, and the smallest weight loss rate(0.1g/m2·a).
