In recent years,the community for the Chinese nation has become the main curatorial direction for ethnic-themed exhibition in museums,focusing on the interaction,exchange and integration among various ethnic groups,with the aim of fostering a strong sense of the community for the Chinese nation.How can local museums help visitors understand the abstract concepts,such as interaction,exchange,integration and the community for the Chinese nation?This article takes the original exhibition In Pursuit of Shangri-La:The Migration Epic and Mobile Dialogue at the Eastern Foothills of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau at Yunnan Provincial Museum as a case study.It explores the possibilities in curatorial strategies for local ethnic community-themed exhibitions from the perspectives of dwelling and migrating narratives by the quadruple evidence method.
