On the Three Relations of Social Work Subject System Localization Construction
Social work is both a practice-based profession and an academic discipline.We should"base ourselves on China and learn from foreign countries",and deal with the three relations in the pro-cess of the indigenization construction of social work discipline system:First,between scientific re-quirements and practical requirements,we should not only respond to the challenge of science,but also adapt to the requirements of practice;Secondly,between the discipline of social work and re-lated disciplines,it is necessary not only to have the self-consciousness of social work,but also to grasp the integrated discipline nature of social work.Finally,on the relation between generic knowledge and specific knowledge within social work disciplines,we should face the realistic needs of Chinese modernization and pay attention to the construction of general knowledge and special knowledge.
