The work aims to review the progress of research on active acoustic black holes in the field of vibration control,so as to provide technical references for the vibration issues of beam-plate structures in mechanical equipment.By employing literature research methods, this study summarized and categorized the latest research on active and passive acoustic black hole vibration control in the academic field, including active feedforward acoustic black holes, active feedback acoustic black holes,one-dimensional passive acoustic black holes, and two-dimensional passive acoustic black holes.Subsequently, the paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of various types of acoustic black holes in vibration control and prospected the future research directions of active acoustic black holes. The research found that the study of active acoustic black holes in the field of vibration control was still in its initial stage, and there was no research applying it to the vibration control of mechanical equipment. Therefore, summarizing and discussing the research progress of this emerging technology in vibration control-active acoustic black holes-could aid in solving the vibration control problems associated with beam and plate structures in mechanical equipment.Active acoustic black holes have unique advantages in vibration control, hold high academic research value, and have a broad prospect for industrial applications, providing a new approach to the vibration control of mechanical equipment.
