Simulation and parameter optimization of tea plane circular screening machine based on EDEM
In order to solve the problem of backward technology of tea screening and finishing machinery and equipment, EDEM was used to simulate and analyze the screening process of tea plane circular screening machine. Single factor test was designed to verify the simulation results with screening efficiency and false screening rate as evaluation indexes. The screening efficiency and false screening rate were used as the performance indexes, and the regression equation of the main technical parameters was obtained by orthogonal test. The main technical parameters such as the horizontal inclination angle of the screen, crank spacing of the crank and the rotational speed of the screen bed were optimized by MATLAB software. The optimal parameter combination was 5.9° of the horizontal inclination angle of the screen, 37 mm of crank spacing of the crank, and 195 r/min of the rotational speed of the screen bed. The experimental results show that under the optimal parameter combination, the actual screening efficiency and false screening rate of the plane circular screening machine are 1.89% and 1.83% respectively, which shows the reliability of the simulation parameters. The research provides a reference for improving the screening performance of the tea plane circular screening machine.
