桑树种植有广泛的适应性,年产量40～60 t/hm2 .桑叶营养丰富,以干物计,粗蛋白200 mg/g、碳水化合物450 mg/g、粗脂肪80 mg/g、粗纤维150 mg/g.桑树用作动物生产饲料喂养肉牛、奶牛、水牛、山羊、绵羊、奶羊、猪、鱼、兔等均获得较好效果.桑树与印度及非洲的一些牧草、树叶比较,其营养效价及动物的消化吸收率均有优势.
The Utilization and Development of Mulberry as Animal Forage
Mulberry tree has a broad adaptability, with more than 40 -60 t/hm2 annual yield. The mulberry leaves contain various nutrients, including crude protein ( CP) 200 mg/g, dry matter ( md), carbohydrate (CHO) 450 mg/g, crude lipoid (CL) 80 mg/g and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) 150 mg/g etc. Mulberry trees were showed to be promising effective forage for cattle, buffalo, cow, sheep, goat, ewe, pig, rabbit and fish. The nutrition value and digestibility effect of mulberry were always better than that of local grass and tree leaves in India and Africa.
