人工四倍体桑树新品种皖桑优1号的选育

以二倍体桑品种7707的新梢芽为材料,用0.4%秋水仙碱+3%二甲亚砜的混合液诱导染色体加倍,获得多个变异芽植株,将变异芽植株嫁接繁殖,并进行单株选择、系统选育和品种比较鉴定试验,获得性状表现稳定的四倍体桑树新品种,2014年通过安徽省林木品种审定委员会审定,定名为皖桑优1号.该人工四倍体桑树新品种在区域适应性鉴定中与二倍体桑树品种湖桑32号比较,桑叶年产量增加18.75%,桑叶养蚕的产茧量提高6.18%,茧层量提高5.63%,并且抗寒性及抵抗桑疫病、桑黄化型萎缩病的能力较强,是一个综合性状优良、丰产性好、抗逆能力较强的四倍体桑品种,适合在长江流域蚕区栽植.
Breeding of a New Artificial Tetraploid Mulberry Variety Wansangyou 1
Multiple plants with mutagenic shoots were obtained by treating newly sprouted shoots of a diploid mulberry variety 7707 with 0.4% colchicine plus 3% dimethyl sulfoxide mixture to induce chromosome doubling.The mutagenic shoots were reproduced through grafting to provide mulberry trees for individual selection,pedigree selection and variety comparative trial.As a result,a new tetraploid mulberry variety with stable traits was obtained,which was approved by the Forest Variety Evaluation Committee of Anhui Province in 2014 and was designated as Wansangyou 1.In regional comparative trial with the control diploid cultivar Husang 32,this newly bred artificial tetraploid mulberry variety had an 18.75% increase in annual leaf production,a 6.18% increase in cocoon production,and a 5.63% increase in cocoon shell weight.Moreover,it showed higher resistance to coldness,mulberry blight disease and mulberry yellow dwarf disease,being a tetraploid mulberry variety with excellent comprehensive traits,high productivity and high resistance suitable for growing in sericultural regions of the Yangtze River Valley.
